Your presentation was VERY good and helpful.  I have a child myself who is sexually confused but refuses any services due to possible shame and alienation from friends.  I’m going to use some of these resources myself or at least I’ll attempt to do so.
From the bottom of my heart.........I thank you..........it was an incredible morning for me.  I am grateful to have spent time with you.........to learn so much from you. With heartfelt gratitude...........
I was just talking to [counselor]*, the school counselor at [elementary school]*, who told me that Amy Cannava’s LGBTQ presentation today was “one of the best presentations I’ve ever been to in my life.” He went on to say that he got a ton out of it and he was going to email one of his supervisors to let them know what he thought in hopes of them encouraging more school counselors to attend if it is offered again in the future.
Thank you so much for presenting the LGBTQ training this morning. I found if very educational and would love it if you could provide future trainings on this topic. You have a very effective presentation style, I enjoyed the training and found the information provided extremely helpful for both my work as a LCPS School Social Worker and a private practitioner.
Truly the most heartfelt and informative presentation I've attending with LCPS.  I am so glad this courageous conversation has started, and have earned new respect for Ms. Cannava. :)  I hope she is able to present to admin and we could have a short version to share with our staff at school.
Your passion is very evident, Amy. I hope that at some point LCPS will be able to offer more information to our community. Every aspect of what you shared was inspiring, and professionally helpful and appreciated. It would be wonderful to hear even more about your experiences and to learn more from your knowledge.
I just wanted to sincerely thank you for your advocating for and volunteering to offer this training you did on Friday!

I had considered myself pretty knowledgeable in this area, but I realized from your session that there is a LOT I don’t know. I learned SO much, and these resources you have shared out will be SO helpful to have!!
Your presentation was most helpful and enlightening!  I hope you get an opportunity to present in the future!
Thanks SO much for sharing the presentation – it was hard to read so I appreciate being able to go back and look through it.  And thanks for offering and doing the presentation – I really enjoyed it…. And am glad you finally got approval to share all your knowledge!!  You have such wonderful information that I hope they allow you to continue presenting!

I want to let you know how much I appreciate you taking the time to give the True Colors workshop this morning.  My daughter (MTF, 17) came out publicly as trans in June and is a senior at [high school]*, so I am invested as a parent.  As a teacher, I know we have a few kids even here in elementary who are gender creative (the most inclusive term I've heard!).   We've got to keep these kids alive.
